All of us involved with the Exeter Reptile Expo are extremely sorry, however unfortunately the Exeter Reptile Expo will NOT being continued and is CANCELLED this year.

Obviously this is not a decision we willingly made, and we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this causes any of you. The decision was beyond our control, and was made wholly by East Devon District Council (wont mention specific names).

Please do NOT email or telephone either Nick or Jason, as emails will generally be ignored. If you have any complaints or issues you wish to raise, direct them to East Devon District Council as it was their decision, not ours.

For those wondering the exact reasons of this decision, it was due to ONE persons misinterpretation of Section 2 of the Pet Animals Act (1951), and if we went ahead as planned the council would arrive with police officers and warrants, arresting anyone caught selling animals.

Again we apologise for these problems, however please do not bother contacting us as it's beyond our control and if you think you're annoyed by this news, trust me, you are far from our personal level of annoyance...and that of the Germans who departed for Exmouth this morning.

Please pass this information on to whoever you feel will benefit from it. If anyone has any doubts, the information on this website is genuine so there is no need to contact the organisers for verification.
